Simulation

Screen Shot 2019-03-16 at 3.22.16 PM.png

This is a screen recording that I have done of the simulation that has been linked above. In this simulation, you can change the temperature and volume, which will simultaneously change the pressure. By using this simulation, I observed that as the volume increases, the pressure increases, and vice versa. When the temperature of the gas sample increases, the particles accelerate at a higher speed, and if temperature decreases, particles accelerate at a lower speed.

This is a screen recording that I have done of the simulation that has been linked above. In this simulation, you can change the temperature, volume, amount of gas and pressure. I was interested in the laws that have been created and wanted to see if this simulation can prove one of the laws. As I explored the simulation and adjusted different variables, Boyle’s law was proved, which states that: Pressure is inversely proportional to the volume, which is what happens in this simulation. As volume increases, pressure decreases, and vice versa.
